Assignment Two; Crysis Part 1

Comedy Central explained to an alien... A visual stimuli that promotes laughing. Laughter is a part of human behavior regulated by the brain. It helps humans clarify their intentions in social interaction and provides an emotional context to conversations. Laughter is used as a signal for being part of a group — it signals acceptance and positive interactions with others. Laughter is sometimes seemingly contagious, and the laughter of one person can itself provoke laughter from others. This may account in part for the popularity of laugh tracks in situation comedy television shows located on the Comedy Channel frequency. In addition, causes the the release of mood enhancing hormones such as Serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, or 5-HT) is a monoamine neurotransmitter synthesized in serotonergic neurons in the central nervous system (CNS) and enterochromaffin cells in the gastrointestinal tract of animals including humans. Serotonin is also found in many mushrooms and plants, including fruits and vegetables.

Desccribe CC as a person... Mr. Alien meet Mr. Chappell.

What kind of clothes would Comedy Central wear? A speedo. Putting it out there, in your face, whether you like it or not.

Where would Comedy Central live? Why Los Angeles of course. Thats where all the aliens live.

What kind of music would it listen to? XM Satellite stations 1-170.

Which movies would it love? SuperBad, American Pie, 40 Yr/old Virgin, White Chicks, Old School, etc...

Would Comedy Central be a friend of yours? Why or why not? Is Comedy Central you? I believe we would be good friends. They make the jokes and I laugh. Everyone that remotely enjoys CC has a little CC inside.

Assignment Two

I would explain comedy Central to my Paladins friend that Comedy Central is an electronic video/audio broadcast that focuses on the silliness of the human condition. Mostly by creating satirical plots that mimic current events.

My alien friend would most likely not have a very good understanding of our complex social issues nor the history of our "superstar" politicians I would want to introduce him to Comedy Central through John Stewart or Colbert, I think a show like Drawn together or South park.

If I were to personify Comedy Central I'd start off by warning the person listening to this discription that "CC" has a rather dry sense of humor and it would be wise to keep a light heart and an objective mind. CC is quick witted and highly intelligent, though sometimes it may seem that CC might be racist or sexist if you take the time to look a little closer you will find a deeper meaning to the language and actions being portrayed, a meaning that is completely opposite of racist. CC is willing to take chances, to step out on the edge of what some might find socially and morally unacceptable. When it comes down to it, CC is a highly creative individual that thrives on inspiring others to contemplate on deeper and more complex levels.

As far as CC's fashion sense goes, it's one that embraces contradiction. For instance you might find CC dressed in a Tuxedo and sporting a Mohawk together. For a more casual occasion a nice spring dress with an unflattering floral print and hot, tacky colors matched with a lovely pair of military boots and dime store jewelry may express CC's inner-self. On occasion CC like to dress endogenously, breaking the long enforced rules of the dominator's celebrated superficial sexual identity

CC is a quite affluent individual owning several properties so it is possible to spend time during the summer months in the open, liberated air of Europe, Holland and Norway mostly. In the winter months CC really likes the crazy atmosphere of Oaxoa, Brazil and San Francisco, taking time out to relax and recharge the creative juices by attending events like Burning Man.

CC without a doubt enjoy Comedies for certain but tends to be most passionate about the less popular films. Independent films and the like create a sensation like you are panning for gold. It is in this context that CC was searching for a movie that would get a laugh and he found "A dirty Shame" by John Waters. Mind you, CC is a huge documentary buff but now and then a feature film presentation can be found that is quite apealing.

CC would certainly be a friend, a deep, intellectual, empathetic, creative and quick witted individual is quite a mistake to forego as a friend.

I am You are Me.... ;)

When it comes to the youtube.com vids, I'd have to start off with one of my favorite amateur videos from youtube. For me, even though it has little to know intellectual value, it's worthwhile being it was able to make me cry of laughter.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GWmNOTRWZU

Second would be Zeitgeist due to it's but if information worth chewing over.

http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=Zeitgeist&search=Search&sa=X&oi=spell&resnum=0&spell=1

The shows I'd be most interested in these particular sircumstances would be;
Southpark - because it doesn't require a strong foundation of current affairs to get a laugh out of it. It would also help my alien friends understand the human conditions at this point in history a little better, at the same time entertaining them.
A Daily Show - along with it's comedy it also rather educational, helping people that find watching political events on TV to be super boring. The same would hold true for the aliens. Of course John is totally worth soliciting for,
Last but not least.....
Colbert Report - I would first forewarn the aliens that first this show need be understood as a satirical take on fundamental, religious conservatism. It (like ALL experiences) need be looked at through an objective perspective. The individual prone to fallowing any individual that can act like they know what they are saying us bound to become lost, angry and confrontational towards others that don't see through their same biased absolutist idealism

Finally Uno is ready for posting!!

I would have to say that I’d like to write for The Cobert Report®!!!

Being part of the process of creating humor and satire on such an intellectual level that his show tends to adhere to is something I’d really enjoy. Coming from this idea of God given rights and crossing this with the perception of idealistic absolute truth and it’s almost certain a plethora of conflicts are bound to arise. The US being a nation was created with a foundation in mind of freedom and liberty for *all*, something the majority of people these days have a hard time truly grasping in my opinion. There is a strong level of misunderstanding and blatant disregard for human diversity in the fundamentalist control/power hungry individual creating issues that become most certainly good writing material .

For me I see great potential for the quick whit and unbound sarcasm of Cobert to be the perfect platform to take on these issues along with a heap of similar topics very effectively.

Cobert is basically the only character on his show so I’m going to have to go with him as the most difficult to write for. Being able to create scenarios that entertain and at the same time come from a perspective that drives the over all meaning home to people on both sides of the given issue could be somewhat difficult at times.

The current state of human affairs and world events, I can certainly see a future for Cobert, John and many other Comedy Central shows to continue on for a long time. In the same way that The Simpsons do.

With the right talent and motivation I think a “skit” comedy (in the same vein as MadTV) though, focused more on current events (especially all these “isms” at war with one another. Plots that really dig into the perceptions and ideology of different groups and individuals, exposing the futility of our situation when empathy and understanding take a back seat to hard line, unbending ideology.

Though Cobert would be great fun to right for, he is also the only one a person could right for the majority of the time on his show. Due to this I’d also like to add Mrs. Garrison and Cartman.

I tend to Identify with John Stewart and many of his guest most of the time.

As far as changes go, assuming I need to stay with my original choice of show I’d be writing for. I’d say the changes would have to do with Cobert’s interviewing method. It seems to me that he puts to much energy into playing the “fundi-conserive” that in many cases you end up getting little out of the conversation and many important issues get passed right over.

I think creating a few “news special” segments that focus on an important issue that week or maybe on exposing the misunderstanding and irrational direction created by any number of given situations. For instance propaganda being spread by corporate news channels or a politician and doing word on the street etc.. To sort of cross examine the variable in that given situation that is putting out said information.

I really think it would be interesting for the individual in this new news segment to be a character mimicked after al jazeera, with a twist to take that rather boring edge off of their production. Using this “correspondent” to present news feeds (for instance) from around the world where in so many cases you see a totally different opinion and feeling about what’s happening than you get from the media and politicians in the US. Even having Cobert using his uber conservativeness to comment on the subjects being presented by … maybe an Islamic woman in full garb ;)

Assignment One

If I could be a writer for one show it would be "The Dave Chappell(e) Show" Reason?... Quality of writing. They continually produce side slapping comedy show after show. I'll revisit this comparison again later, but I would almost compare it to "Saturday Night Live".
What interests me about the show is the structure. It's format is spacial, consisting of Dave Chappell's ingenious character creations, parody's of other stars, to Charley Murphy's recollections of the 80's. As far my personality/ sense of humor goes in relation to the show, it is an exact match.
What type of shows would I create? Actually I would not alter the shows current feel whatsoever. Which character would be fun to write for? Charley Murphy, the dude is hilarious in an underrated way. I would like to see him on the big screen. Which character would be the hardest to write for? By far it would be Dave Chappell. It would be tenuous to write for such a comedic genius. Which character to identify with the most? Let's see, probably Rick James. What would I change about the show? I would like to inject a few more guest stars. Anyone that has been around the block and has mostly stared in dramas vs. comedies. To introduce a new character? Chris Tucker, hands down.
Hello my name is Chris. I'm 34 and in the healthcare field. My hobbies mostly consist of outdoor activities, camping, boating, diving, etc. But when the day is over I'm on my couch. The Comedy Central Network is trip and capitalizes a large amount of my viewing time. My favorite show by far is "The Dave Chappell(e) Show". First, the content of the show is acutely hilarious. Secondly, Dave pushes the envelope on what the FCC might consider offensive, which is appealing.

Assignment Two

I would explain Comedy Central to be very funny, up front, and full of life. Comedy Central wears jeans and a tee shirt and would live in San Diego. I think that Dumb and Dumber movie and soundtrack would be perfect. CC would be a great friend who doesn’t love a funny sometimes serious friend. I would talk about Reno 911, South Park, and The Daily Show because I think these shows show the dynamics of comedy.

Assignment One

If I could be a writer for one show on Comedy Central it would have to be Reno 911 because it is a hilarious. The most interesting thing about this show is that it makes you think just what do some cops do. I think that Reno 911 fits my sense of dumb humor I see tons of opportunity to keep this show alive. I think that I would create a political comedy since we are so consumed by it I think it would be very funny to see the lighter side once in a while.

Assignment Two: Sean

If an alien were to land on Earth and I had to show it something to explain what Comedy Central was, I would have to start with the basics. A TV, someone funny (Chris Rock), and someone lame (Keanu Reaves). I would line them all up and proceed to kick Mr. Reaves out of there because he is the opposite of funny and should have nothing to do with comedy. I would just let Chris keep talking and talking because even if you don't understand what he is saying (assuming this alien can't speak english), his voice is funny as hell by itself. He would just be wearing a gigantic shirt with a smiley wearing shades to project happiness and laughter. Maybe the picture could be of the sun from the Raisin Bran comercial (two scoops). Chris would be listening to Tenacious D on large headphones while rollerblading down the road. With the alien in tow, Chris Rock would go to his house and watch all Mel Brooks' movies. Chris would eventually tire of the alien because he keeps asking questions and Chris can only take so much of that, and would retreat to his only friend left in his house....Kyle, Stan, Kenny, and Cartman. If they represent CC, then I could be friends with it in small burst, but they are just a bit too crazy for me.
Once the alien comes back and meets up with me again, I would send him off with two last images to remember CC by: a) Bill Murray in Caddy Shack and b) Will Ferrel in the Blue Oyster Cult SNL Clip. I would leave the web address for YouTube with it with a direct link to the clip of the monkey that smells his butt finger and falls off the tree and make sure it knows about the crazy antics South Park, the not-so-effecient police force in Reno, and that all the good news in the world is on the Daily Show. Hopefully it cold bring these images back to its home and mimic them so someday we could see what they come up with.
Comedy Central is the palce you go to for laughs and a good time. It is the party that everyone wants to attend. It is the cool guy/girl everyone wants to be like in high school. Lets give it up for CC, voted this years big man on campus.
CC is spontaneus and witty, he is the class clown. He is the guy everyone watches out for, the guy that has a comeback for any situation. Teachers dont like him for his wittyness because he always has the class rolling in laughter. Reminds me of someone I know!!!! His style of dress is fresh. By fresh I mean he wears a cowboy hat, speedo, and a pair of pink ruffled boots. You never know what to expect from this cat, he always has you on your toes. What will he say or do next?
CC favorite shows would be South Park, any Comey Central comedy special, and Reno 911. He loves the shows that talk and expose the taboo issues everyone is scared to talk about. Reno 911 is hilarious, many times cops want to react a certain way but cant because they must follow the LAW. Reno 911 puts the law aside and does things their way, which in every case is extremely deviant but funny. CC's favorite movies would include Old School and Wedding Crashers, anything with Vince Vaughn in it since that is one of his homies.
The you tube video I would show CC is the Human Tetris video. Probably one of the funniest videos I have seen on youtube. Guys attempt to get through a moving wall by shaping themselves into crazy forms. Many of the shapes are impossible to do, but it is funny watching them attempt it anyway.

Deux for you

Assuming that the Alien had the same kind of emotions as humans, I would describe Comedy Central as the television station you watch when you want to laugh. Other stations only cater to comedy crowd at certain times, while CC keeps you laughing all day long, until the infomercials come on. As a person Comedy Central would be that guy that has humors that always catches you off guard. He tells the jokes that sometimes you need to think about and are always out there. CC would wear a wrinkled and bright Hawaiian shirt with several smelly stains. CC would also have shorts sandals and most likely sunglasses still on at night. CC would live in three places. Most likely his parents house, or the fraternity house. I would assume his listening preference would be recorded comedy albums or alternative grunge music from the late 1990’s. The universal comedy movies would be CC’s favorites; Anchorman, Dumb and Dumber, Animal House, and Old School. Comedy Central would be friend. I don’t think he would be me though. I think everyone that watches that show has a little bit of my description in them. Maybe it’s the clothes, or the music or the favorite movies. I would say I am more like CC’s older more mature brother. I still have a good sense of humor, but a job too.

For the images, I would use any shot from The Man Show and Dave Chappelle as Rick James. For a clip, I would use the recent skit involving Stewart, Colbert and Conan O’Brien.

I would tell them about the Southpark, The Daily Show and Reno 911. I would tell them about the basic storyline and why each show is so creative and funny. I would talk about Southpark’s underlying message, The Daily Show’s perfect exploitation of a misspoken work or phrase and Reno 911’s complete disregard for political correctness, and why it is so funny.

Assignment two

If an alien were to land on Earth and I were to explain Comedy Central, I would show endless clips of the many hilarious shows and their characters. I would let these hilarious moments really sink in with the alien and see if it would be enough to make it laugh, which of course it should . Comedy Central as a person would be the typical cool class clown, always making those around them laugh. Comedy Central would be outgoing, entertaining, very witty, sarcastic, and always ready to deliver a comeback. Comedy Central would wear clothes that stood out, maybe something bright, but nothing flashy. It would have a unique style that would show the humorous side to it as well.
Comedy Central would live all across the United States. Its too funny and unique to be settled down in one place. It needs to get out and share the humor and laughs with everyone. Comedy Central loves comedy movies, parodies, and comedian specials. In fact, Office Space is probably one of its favorites. The music it would listen to is a blend of rock, alternative, and hip hop.
Comedy Central would most definitely be a friend of mine, we have a lot of similarities and I can see some of the Comedy Central in me. I know I could be very hilarious and quick witted, but I think I am known more for by sarcasm. Two images I would show would probably come from the tv shows, maybe Reno 911 and Mind of Mencia. It would show each character in their own unique way on Reno 911. On Mind of Mencia it would show his talent and versatility in each character that he portrays which would show his creativity.
I think one YouTube clip that can show the entertaining side is one called, It's Business Time, where two guys are singing a song in a parody way about sex. I found it to be really entertaining and funny like how Comedy Central always is. The three shows I would tell them about are the first two I mentioned above, Mind of Mencia and Reno 911. The third one is the deceased Dave Chappelle Show. I think each show is innovative and very creative with what they do in the show. There are just moments that stick out more from these shows and when you walk down the street and hear someone telling someone else, you're such a tut-te-tuh you know it comes from the Mind of Mencia show.

Assignment one

If I could be a writer of a show on Comedy Central it would be the Dave Chappelle Show. Even though all the shows are repeats, I have always liked his style of humor. He would poke fun at everyone and I never felt that he targeted one particular group. He made me see how television is really like, but how it is downplayed so that they do not look bad. Early in the blog, someone mentioned this proliferation of reality shows that have taken over television and I really have thought about having a reality show that shows the absurdity of it all. It could have all the drama, suspense, and immoral things that reality shows have, but in the end when the finale is built up, everyone finds out that the reality show was not real but fake with unknown actors. Its just a thought, but maybe people would finally be turned off by reality shows enough to make them go away.
Dave Chappelle has several characters I like, but one that I would love to write for is his sketches on Rick James. Everyone know that classic line of his everytime he mentions he is Rick James, hilarious stuff. I think his character of Chuck Taylor the newscaster would be tougher for me to write for just because of the way the media can manipulate the public, but he always has done a great job mocking them. I don't think I identify with any characters on the show. The one thing I would change is bringing him back because he has a legion of fans that watch his sketches still even though theyre several years old. Maybe he could create his own character of leaving and coming back and mocking that.

Assignment 1

If I could be a writer for one show on Comedy Central it would have to be the Daily Show. Political pundits always try to take themselves and what they are talking about so seriously. There is finally a show that makes fun of the stupid and illogical things that politicians say and do. I have always been interested in politics and this show revolves around that subject. Like the comedy on that show, I have a sarcastic humor and like to poke fun at a funny situation. As for an opportunity for that show, it depends on how you read the questions. I think the show has unlimited opportunity for the future. There is plenty of material to write about because the political machine is always running. I would also not be surprised if the show spawned more programs like the Colbert Report. It would be hard pressed to make another show to that standard, but that is the same thing I said when the Colbert Report debuted.

To create a show, I would do what they have been doing for years. Take an institution of popular culture and mock it. The premise of the show is already funny, you just need a story line and some jokes. It has worked for The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, Reno 911, and Drawn Together. A fake dating show would be amazing, except don’t tell the public its fake. Take some nobody from the comedy world (Arsenio, Charlie Murphy, Carrot Top, Andrew Dice Clay, Andy Dick(this could be Tila Tequila style) etc…) and play it out like Rock of Love. Rock of the Love is one the dumbest and grotesque shows on TV, but millions of people still watch each week.

The character I think would be the funniest to write for would be Lt. Jim Dangle on Reno 911. That guy is hysterical. There are so many jokes you can write. Gay, Racist, Sexist, and flat out odd. Also, the dynamic between Dangle and Weigle.

The hardest character to write for would be Colbert. He humor is great, but how do you dumb yourself down enough to come up with that stuff.

I don’t think I can identify with any character on Comedy Central at all, and that is probably a good thing. If I said Larry The Cable Guy, what would that be saying about me.

If I was do change anything about a show, I would limit the interviews on the The Daily Show and Colbert Report. Sometimes the guests are great, (McCain, Dole, Clinton, actors etc…) but sometimes they are boring as hell. I don’t care about a book you wrote that encompasses a part of Tibetan history that even Tibetans don’t know about. If the interviewer can’t sell his interest, how am I going to be interested?

If I was to introduce a new character, it would be another stereotype on Reno 911. Perhaps a Russian from the KGB or an albino, or a Chinese person or a terrorist. That should keep the jokes coming.

Tuesday, February 12, 2008

I would have to say that I would have liked to been a writer for the Mind of Mencia. I guess in this case it would have been the Mind of Valentin. I loved the show because he incorporated a lot of the social and political issues into his comedy. That is the kind of comedy that I like to hear and watch, things that anyone can relate to, no matter what race or ethnicity you are. It is very difficult to talk about taboo topics, but Carlos did a great job getting those points across. A lot of comedy sometimes targets specific groups of people, and I feel there is a need for more culturally sensitive material. I am not using the word sensitive as a way to censor comedy, on the contrary, I want to see more cultural relevant material presented. Some people would call it racist, others would say "keeping it real." As a Mexican-American myself I find myself watching comedy specials and sometimes not laughing as much as I want to. I am able to relate to the comedy of those who resemble and look like me. I don't think I am the only one that feels this way. As a writer or contributor to Comedy Central I think my focus would be to target my population by regions. So Cal has huge Mexican and Black communities, therefore I would create a show that would target themes like immigration, stereotypes, etc. A white guy talking about immigration, not too funny, a Mexican talking about immigration, Hilarious!!!! I must know my audience.
Assignment 1: Sean Rae

If I could be a writer for any show on CC, it would be Reno 911 definitely because it is filled with a bunch of small scenes that don't really have much to do with one another (usually). I really like the humor in it for a few reasons: 1) It shows the stupidity that inflicts most of America today and 2) It makes fun of everyone -white, black, hispanic, gay, hot, lawyer, trash, law enforcement, you name it. I would put the characters in more awkward positions then they already have been subjected to where their personal life or beliefs conflict or agree with someone or something breaking the law. It would be the most fun to write for Dangle b/c he is just too easy it ridicule and place in these situations. The hardest would be Garcia, not sure about that though, he is just more of a dumb ass. I could probably identify with Jones the best b/c he is always noticing what is wrong with everyone else and not seeing what is wrong with him. To improve the show, I would probably introduce another group of sheriffs or PIs who are actually worse than the Reno PD, but they know it and make some stories off of that. As for a new character to the Reno PD, I don't know, may an aspiring High School kid wanting to nothing more than to work in the department and idolizes the different characters.

ASSIGNMENT ONE: If you were a writer for Comedy Central...

Hey everyone, McKay here again. Here is your first assignment:

If you could be a writer for one show on Comedy Central, which one would it be and why?
• What is it about that show that interests you? Is it a particular genre that you like? Does it fit your personality/sense of humor? Do you see an opportunity in that show?
• What kinds of shows would you create?
• Which character do you think would be most fun to write for?
• Which character do you think would be the hardest?
• Which character do you think you would identify with the most?
• If you were tasked to change something about the show, what would you do? How would you improve it or give it a fresh spin?
• If you were to introduce a new character, who would it be and what would he/she/it be like?

Also, don't forget to write a post telling us a little about yourself. Or, you can update your Blogger profile with details.

Hello

Hello everyone! My name is Colin and I live in PB. I have been living in San Diego for a little over 10 years now. I orginally moved down for college and have never wanted to leave. I finished my MBA in 2006 and now work in buiness development for a large financial institution. It is a great job! I have an amazing finacee and we are getting married this August.

I am a big active sports guy. Every free moment I have is spent mountain biking, playing baseball, golf, tennis, raquetball and skiing. Scuba diving is my next interest and I plan on getting certified in the next month or so. I also love watching movies and television shows that peak my interest.

Comedy Central is one of my favorite stations becuase of the diversity and overall brillance of some of their shows. The Daily Show and Colbert Report are brillant. Not only are they funny, but they are indirectly intellectually stimulatning. I am also a big fan of Southpark and the deceased Chappelle Show. Those shows are so funny that the skits will never die. You can still talk about Charlie Murphy and Rick James and the episode aired 5 years ago. "Cocaine is a hell of a drug." Fantastic work!

If you haven't seen it already, it is worth watching this:

JimmyJames in a GnaughtShell

High-dee-hoooee!!!
My name is James aka JimmyJames and I’m also living here in San Diego. I moved here in August of 2006 after spending a week here during a family vacation I decided I wasn’t getting on the plane to go back to Kansas City, Missouri where I’m originally from.

I’m really a jack of all trades but my passions are traditional and computer aided visual art and botany. Something I’d love to get into as a profession in San Diego but so far my Spanish just isn’t good enough. So for now I’m working as an Administrative Assistant.

Comedy Central is one of my favorite cable channels; I truly dig the social, political, intrapersonal humor they are so good at putting out on the airwaves! I’d say my favorite shows are The Daily Show, South Park, Drawn Together, The Cobert Report and some of the stand up weekly series.

The pic is just a sample of my art work to give ya'll an idea of what I do, in leu of a face pic.
Hi, my name is Valentin, and I am a high school teacher. I teach with the JCCS school District, which is an alternative Ed. school district. I spent the first three years of my career working at a juvenile detention facility. For those of you who like to read the newspaper, the students in my class were usually then cases you read about in the news. I now work at a community day school and I just love my job. My students are the same at-risk youth, but now I get to serve as the intervention to keep them from going back to juvenile hall.

I am originally from East Los Angeles and moved to San Diego to attend college. I graduated from SDSU with a degree in sociology. I just finished my Master Degree in Education last year and I do not see any further education in the near future.

I am a huge Dodgers and Lakers fan, and I am excited about the upcoming baseball season. I love to play golf, I am not very good at golf, but I am very good at drinking beer on the golf course. When I am not on the golf course or at work I usually spend my time watching comedy central. Many times after dealing with my students all day I go home to get a good laugh. My wife is pretty funny, but not as funny as comedy central. Comedy Central Presents is always good and how can you miss South Park. Well, I am looking foward to meeting you all, and GO DODGERS!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday, February 10, 2008

What's up guys? I am another Sean, but spelled a different way. One less name to remember when we get to meet. I recently moved out to San Diego and am currently in the market for some work, which gives me heaps of time to watch the old tube and yes, most of the time it is on Comedy Central because I can what comedy shows all day everyday without really having to think. Office Space was on today, by the way. I have lived in the South Pacific for the last few years running a minesite which was a great gig because my passion is surfing and there is no shortage of waves down there, not that there is any lack of waves here either. I look forward to meeting ya'll (yes I am originally from the south).

Hi everyone, my name is McKay and I'll be posting assignments and asking questions.

I'll go first in introducing myself and telling you all a little bit about me.

I work in advertising and research for a company in NYC. I love my job because I get to spend all day learning about different types of people and what they love in their lives.

I live in Manhattan with 2 roommates. They are my friends from college. I'm a huge sports fan and try to get together with friends after work. I also love to check out new bars and restaurants in the city.

I like watching Comedy Central because it always makes me laugh, and totally helps me relax after work. Plus, I love talking about some of the shows with my friends the next day.

Since I work in advertising, I decide to include a link to this commercial which I think is great because I love sports and I think it's a cool way to capture the competitiveness that I love.
