Assignment 1: Sean Rae

If I could be a writer for any show on CC, it would be Reno 911 definitely because it is filled with a bunch of small scenes that don't really have much to do with one another (usually). I really like the humor in it for a few reasons: 1) It shows the stupidity that inflicts most of America today and 2) It makes fun of everyone -white, black, hispanic, gay, hot, lawyer, trash, law enforcement, you name it. I would put the characters in more awkward positions then they already have been subjected to where their personal life or beliefs conflict or agree with someone or something breaking the law. It would be the most fun to write for Dangle b/c he is just too easy it ridicule and place in these situations. The hardest would be Garcia, not sure about that though, he is just more of a dumb ass. I could probably identify with Jones the best b/c he is always noticing what is wrong with everyone else and not seeing what is wrong with him. To improve the show, I would probably introduce another group of sheriffs or PIs who are actually worse than the Reno PD, but they know it and make some stories off of that. As for a new character to the Reno PD, I don't know, may an aspiring High School kid wanting to nothing more than to work in the department and idolizes the different characters.
